The Heavenly Echoes and JV & the Cutters Blues Band return to the Hudson River Music Hall on Saturday, June 25th at 7:30 pm. This evening's concert of traditional gospel songs and original blues that will be "moving heaven and earth" is a fundraiser for Hudson River Music Hall Productions Inc, a non-profit organization.
The Heavenly Echoes was founded more than 50 years ago by Deacon James Edmonds of Sweet Pilgrim Baptist Church in Albany, NY. In the Southern-soul style, the singers and musicians bring their authentic, heartfelt music to churches and community events throughout the Capital Region.
The JV & the Cutters Blues Band plays original blues with a Memphis-meets-St. Louis style. J.V.'s songs mix in some soul, rock, and jazz sounds with lyrics about modern situations to craft a "new urban blues". The group presents the blues at Capitol Region venues, benefits, and events, including First Night Saratoga.
Tickets are $10 general admission, $8 for seniors and students. Tickets are available at the door. 10 Maple St., Hudson Falls, NY 12839. For more information, please call 518-832-3484
